The updated LEED standard enters into force

The last update of the LEED standard, the v4.1 version was presented in January in the US Green Building Council and is already available to register new building projects and indoor spaces in LEED v.41 BD+C and LEED v.4.1 ID+C

The rating system is simplified. The scorecard and requirements are streamlined, and new methodologies for tracking and rating performance are integrated directly into the rating system, providing a clear framework for achieving LEED certification, not just for entire buildings, but for spaces within buildings as well.

Leed v4.1 is bigger, stronger and bolder

LEED v4.1 is for all – it is more inclusive with updated referenced standards and allows projects to earn LEED points through building performance monitoring.

LEED v4.1 continues to drive performance, fully integrating performance outcomes supported by new methodologies and a simple data-driven path so that you can measure performance on an on-going basis.

Lessons learned from those in the market using LEED v4 and over the last twenty years have led us to take a deeper look at existing buildings, residential projects and cities to develop unique solutions that address unique markets.

The new version reflects the adaptation and congruence to the building market and looks for a stronger sustainable commitment by the agents of the sector with improved options for its fulfilment with global perspective.
