Measure the Facility Management added value
The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) has just published the second edition of the Management Manual called “Added value of Facility Management”.
This publication, oriented to provide to Facility Managers concepts and settings to be considered in order to identify the added value of their management, has involved the participation of Jordi Castellano who developed the concepts and tools related to sustainability and applied to the Facility Management.
This Manual lets Facility Managers evaluate their situation in the company, to measure their activity and to show the added value provided by their daily duties. By this new tool the labor of the FM professionals can be recognized.
The evaluation methodology of the added value in Facility Management has been developed by an expert research group on the field.
The International Facility Management Association is the biggest professional association in the real estate sector with a large international recognition. To accomplish his goal of promoting the Facility Management, the association identifies new trends, leads researches, organizes formation programs, and helps companies and their managers to develop strategies for the management of human and physic resources.
